1. This Order may be cited as the ESB (Electronic Communications Networks) (Commencement) Order 2014.

2. The day appointed as the day on which the

(No. 5 of 2014), comes into operation is 19th June 2014.

This Order commences the

ESB (Electronic Communications Networks) Act 2014

(No. 5 of 2014), to enable the Electricity Supply Board to engage in electronic communications and services, to define the meaning of an electric line, to change the name of Bord Gáis Éireann and to provide for related matters.
