1. This Order may be cited as the Public Health (Tobacco) (Amendment) Act 2013 (Commencement) Order 2013.

2. The 23rd day of December 2013 is appointed as the day on which the

Public Health (Tobacco) (Amendment) Act 2013

(No. 17 of 2013) shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings the

Public Health (Tobacco) (Amendment) Act 2013

(No. 17 of 2013) into operation. The Act amends

Section 38

of the

Public Health (Tobacco) Act 2002

(No. 6 of 2002) and repeals certain provisions of the

Tobacco Products (Control of Advertising, Sponsorship and Sales Promotion) Act 1978

(No. 27 of 1978).
