1. This Order may be cited as the Physiotherapists Registration Board (Establishment Day) Order 2013.

2. The 11th day of October 2013 is appointed to be the establishment day of the Physiotherapists Registration Board.

The effect of this Order is to establish, under the

Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005

, a body known as the Physiotherapists Registration Board, which will register Physiotherapists, thus protecting the public by fostering high standards of professional conduct and professional education, training and competence among registrants of the physiotherapy profession.
