S.I. No. 372/2013 - European Communities (Seed of Fodder Plants) (Amendment) Regulations 2013.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Seed of Fodder Plants) (Amendment) Regulations 2013.

2. The European Communities (Seed of Fodder Plants) Regulations, 2002 (

S.I. No. 198 of 2002

) are amended—

(

a

) in Regulation 2(1) by substituting the definition of—

(i)“authorised officer” the following—

“’authorised officer’ means a person appointed under Regulation 14 of the European Communities (Seed Potatoes) Regulations 2011 (

S.I. No. 532 of 2011

);”, and

(ii)“EC Directive” (as amended by the European Communities (Seed of Fodder Plants) (Amendment) Regulations 2005 (

S.I. No. 918 of 2005

) the following

“’directive’ means Council Directive 66/401/EEC of 14 June 1966 on the marketing of fodder plant seed
