S.I. No. 205/2013 - Harbours Act 1996 (Establishment of the Pilotage District of Fenit Harbour) Order 2013.

1. This order may be cited as the Harbours Act 1996 (Establishment of the Pilotage District of Fenit Harbour) Order 2013.

2. A pilotage district, the limits of which are specified in Article 3 and which shall be known as, and is in this Order referred to as, the “Pilotage District of Fenit Harbour”, is hereby established.

3. The limits of the pilotage district of Fenit Harbour shall be the navigable waters of the bays, creeks, rivers and canals on the landward side of an imaginary line drawn from Kerry Head to the westernmost of the Magharee Islands.

4. There is hereby conferred on Kerry County Council the function of organising and ensuring the provision of pilotage services in the Pilotage District of Fenit Harbour, by one of the means specified in

section 56

(1) of the

Harbours Act 1996

(No.11 of 1996).
