1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Cosmetic Products) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2013.

2. The Principal Regulations and these Regulations may be cited together as the European Communities (Cosmetic Products) Regulations 2004 to 2013 and shall be construed together as one.

3. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the European Communities (Cosmetic Products) Regulations 2004 (

) as amended.

4. The preamble to the European Communities (Cosmetic Products) Regulations 2013 (

S.I. No. 161 of 2013

) is amended by substituting “Directive 2012/21/EU” for “Directive 2012/12/EU”.

5. The definition of “Directive” in Regulation 4(1) of the Principal Regulations (as amended by the European Communities (Cosmetic Products) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 (

S.I. No. 161 of 2013

)), is amended by substituting “Directive 2012/21/EU” for “Directive 2012/12/EU”.

These Regulations amend the European Communities (Cosmetic Products) Regulations 2004 and the European Communities (Cosmetic Products) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 to correct a typographical error in the title of the Commission Implementing Directive 2012/21/EU of 2 August 2012.
