1. This Order may be cited as the State Airports Act 2004 (Shannon Appointed Day) Order 2012.

2. The day appointed to be the appointed day in respect of Shannon Airport Authority is 31 December 2012.

The Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, being satisfied as to the state of operational and financial readiness of Shannon airport, consents to the making of the foregoing order.

, this Order sets the date with effect from which Shannon Airport Authority (SAA) will be separated from the Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) and confirms that both the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport and the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform are satisfied as to the operational and financial readiness of Shannon Airport for separation. The day so appointed is the Shannon appointed day for the purposes of the

State Airports Act 2004
