1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Tenure of Office of Managers) Regulations, 2012.

2. In these Regulations “the Act” means the

Local Government Act 2001

3. Subject to the Local Government (Officers Age Limit) Order 1957, (

S.I. No. 140 of 1957

), the extension of the tenure period for the current Limerick City Manager shall be reduced from 3 years to 1 year 321 days, ending on 28 February 2012.
