1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Industrial Designs (Amendment) Regulations 2012.
(2) These Regulations come into operation on 1 February 2012.
2. Schedule 1 to the Industrial Designs Regulations 2002 (
S.I. No. 280 of 2002
) is amended—
(
a
) by substituting the following text for the text set out in columns (1), (2) and (3) of reference number 8—

On request for deferment of publication under section 32 of the Principal Act for a period of up to 30 months

) by substituting the following text for the text set out in columns (1), (2) and (3) of reference number 14

)), and in relation to the said section 9(1), with the consent of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, hereby make the following regulations
