S.I. No. 89/2011 - Social Welfare (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2010 (Section 25) (Commencement) Order 2011.

1. This Order may be cited as the Social Welfare (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2010 (Section 25) (Commencement) Order 2011.

2. The 27th day of April 2011 is appointed as the day on which

section 25

of the

Social Welfare (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2010

(No. 28 of 2010) comes into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order provides for the commencement of

Section 25

of the

Social Welfare (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2010

, with effect from the 27th of April 2011.

Section 25 provides for changes in the conditions for entitlement to the One Parent Family Payment which restrict this payment to lone parents who have children aged under 14 years.
