1. These Regulations may be cited as the Safety of Fishing Vessels Regulations 2007 (Revocation) Regulations 2011.

2. The Safety of Fishing Vessels Regulations 2007 (

S.I. No. 563 of 2007

) are revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The purpose of these Regulations is to revoke the Safety of Fishing Vessels Regulations 2007 (

S.I. No. 563 of 2007

). The 2007 Regulations are no longer required because powers and arrangements for the raising of sunken vessels are now provided in Part 5 of the

Merchant Shipping Act 2010

(No. 14 of 2010).
