1. This Order may be cited as the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005 (Commencement) (No.2) Order 2011.

2. The 31st day of May 2011 is appointed as the day on which—

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation).

This Order commences certain provisions of the

Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005

with effect from 31 May 2011 for the purpose of providing registration boards with the basis to carry out their functions, including the approval of education and training programmes and the establishment and maintenance of registers.
