S.I. No. 6/2010 - Wildlife Act 1976 (Temporary Suspension of Open Season) (Amendment) Order 2010.

1. This Order may be cited as the Wildlife Act 1976 (Temporary Suspension of Open Season) (Amendment) Order 2010.

2. Article 3 of the Wildlife Act 1976 (Temporary Suspension of Open Season) Order 2010 (

S.I. No. 2 of 2010

) is amended by the substitution of “20th day of January, 2010” for “15th day of January 2010”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation).

The effect of this Order is to suspend temporarily the hunting of wild birds as listed in the Schedule of the Wildlife Act 1976 (Temporary Suspension of Open Season) Order 2010 for an additional 5 days, due to the severity of weather conditions.
