1. This Order may be cited as the Credit Institutions (Financial Support) (Financial Support Date) Order 2009.

2. For the purposes of section 6(3) of the

Credit Institutions (Financial Support) Act 2008

financial support may be provided to 29 September 2015.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.)

This order is made under Section 6(3) of the

Credit Institutions (Financial Support) Act 2008

which provides that the Minister may specify an end date for the provision of financial support in respect of borrowings, liabilities and obligations of a credit institution. The Minister thus sets out an end date of 29 September 2015 for the provision of financial support.

Credit Institutions (Financial Support) Act 2008

(No.18 of 2008), having regard to the matters set out in section 2 of that Act, having consulted in accordance with section 6(3A)(a) of that Act and being satisfied as required by paragraphs (a) and (b) of section 6(3A) of that Act, hereby order as follows
