S.I. No. 401/2009 - Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order 2009

1. This Order may be cited as the Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order 2009.

2. The 1st day of October 2009 is appointed as the day on which Part 3 of the

Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009

(No. 25 of 2009) shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings Part 3 of the

Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009

into operation. Part 3 provides for the dissolution of the Women’s Health Council and for the transfer of the Council’s employees, liabilities, property etc. to the Minister for Health and Children.
