S.I. No. 17/2009 - Balbriggan Town Boundary Alteration Order 2009

1. This Order may be cited as the Balbriggan Town Boundary Alteration Order 2009.

2. This Order shall come into operation on 1 February 2009.

3. The areas shown as “relevant areas” on the map attached to this Order titled “Balbriggan Town Council” and date stamped 6 January 2009 shall be included in and form part of Balbriggan Town and the boundary of Balbriggan Town shall accordingly stand altered in accordance with that map.

This Order extends the boundary of Balbriggan Town from 1 February 2009. It should be read together with a separate Order, the Balbriggan Town Boundary Alteration (Supplementary) Order 2009 (

S.I. No. 18 of 2009

) which contains supplementary provisions related to the boundary extension.
