1. This Order may be cited as the

Criminal Justice Act 2007

(Commencement) Order 2009.

2. The 1 May 2009 is appointed as the day on which section 19, insofar as it inserts paragraph (

a

) of section 28(3) of the

Criminal Procedure Act 1967

(No. 12 of 1967), of the

Criminal Justice Act 2007

(No. 29 of 2007) comes into operation.
