1. This Order may be cited as the Appointment of Special Adviser (Minister for Social and Family Affairs) Order 2008.

2. Ms. Averil Power, particulars of whose address were deposited at the offices of the Department of Social and Family Affairs, Áras Mhic Dhiarmada, Store Street, Dublin 1, on 8 May 2008, is appointed to be a Special Adviser to the Minister for Social and Family Affairs with effect from 7 May 2008.
