S.I. No. 348/2008 - European Communities (Single-Member Private Limited Companies) (Amendment) Regulations 2008
Statutory Text (5 Articles)
1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Single-Member Private Limited Companies) (Amendment) Regulations 2008.
(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on 16 September 2008.
2. In these Regulations “Principal Regulations” means the European Communities (Single-Member Private Limited Companies) Regulations 1994. (
S.I. No. 275 of 1994
).
3. The Principal Regulations are amended-
(
a
) in Regulation 5(2) by substituting “in the form specified in Schedule 1 or a form to like effect” for “in the prescribed form”,
(
b
) in Regulation 6 by substituting “in the form specified in Schedule 2 or a form to like effect” for “in the prescribed form”,
(
c
) after Regulation 14, by inserting Schedules 1 and 2 set out in the Schedule.
4. Regulations 3 and 4 of the European Communities (Single-Member Private Limited Companies)(Forms) Regulations 1994 (
S.I. No. 306 of 1994
) are revoked on the coming into operation of these Regulations.

The purpose of these Regulations is to amend Forms M1 & M2 and revoke the previous respective forms. Form M1 is a notice of change to a single member company. Form M2 is the notice of a change status of a single member company.
