S.I. No. 137/2008 - Sea-Fisheries (Control of Catches) (Deep-Sea Stocks) Regulations 2008

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Sea-Fisheries (Control of catches) (Deep-sea Stocks) Regulations 2008.

2. A word or expression that is used in Council Regulation (EC) No. 2015/2006 of 19 December 2006 and is also used in these Regulations has, in these Regulations, the same meaning as in Council Regulation (EC) No. 2015/2006 of 19 December 2006.

3. A person shall not contravene Articles 6 or 7(3) of Council Regulation (EC) No. 2015/2006 of 19 December 2006.

These Regulations provide for the provisions of Council Regulation (EC) No. 2015/2006 of 19 December 2006 fixing for 2007 and 2008 the fishing opportunities and associated conditions for certain fish stocks and groups of fish stocks applicable in Community waters and, for Community vessels, in waters where catch limitations are required.
