1. These Regulations may be cited as European Communities (Dehydrated Preserved Milk) (Amendment) Regulations 2008

2. The European Communities (Dehydrated Preserved Milk) Regulations 2003 (

S.I. No. 298 of 2003

) are amended in Regulation 2(1), by substituting for the definition of “Directive”—

“Directive” means Council Directive 2001/114/EC of 20 December 2001, and Council Directive 2007/61/EC of 26 September 2007.”

These Regulations amend the European Communities (Dehydrated Preserved Milk) Regulations 2003. They give legal effect to Directive 2007/61/EC providing for the standardisation of protein content of partly or wholly dehydrated milk, and should be read in conjunction with the Directive.
