This Order brings into operation certain general provisions of the

Water Services Act 2007

; also miscellaneous amendments to the Local Government (Water Pollution) Acts 1977 and 1990, the

Fisheries (Consolidation) Act 1959

, the

Environmental Protection Agency Act 1992

and, for the purposes of synchronisation, certain other enactments relating generally to the provision of water services; as well as the repeal of certain related enactments specified in the Schedule to the Order.
