1. This Order may be cited as the
Patents (Amendment) Act 2006
(Certain Provisions) (Commencement) Order 2007.
2. The 13th day of December 2007 is appointed as the day on which the provisions of the
Patents (Amendment) Act 2006
(No. 31 of 2006) specified in the Schedule come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation).
This Order appoints 13 December 2007 as the date on which specified provisions of the
Patents (Amendment) Act 2006
, arising from the revision of the European Patent Convention, come into operation. The revised Convention will enter into force on 13 December 2007.
