S.I. No. 45/2007 - European Communities (Authorization, Placing on the Market, Use and Control of Plant Protection Products) (Amendment) Regulations 2007

1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Authorization, Placing on the Market, Use and Control of Plant Protection Products) (Amendment) Regulations 2007 and come into operation on 1 February 2007.

2. The European Communities (Authorization, Placing on the Market, Use and Control of Plant Protection Products) Regulations 2003 (

S.I. No. 83 of 2003

) are amended, in Regulation 2(1), by substituting for the definition of “Directive of 1991” (inserted by the European Communities (Authorization, Placing on the Market, Use and Control of Plant Protection Products) (Amendment) (No. 5) Regulations 2006 (

)) the following—

These Regulations amend Council Directive 91/414/EEC to include clothianidin, pethoxamid, methamidophos, procymidone, flusilazole, fenarimol, carbendazim, dinocap, clopyralid, cyprodinil, fosetyl, trinexapac, fenamiphos and ethephon as active substances.
