S.I. No. 211/2007 - European Communities (Swine Vesicular Disease) Regulations 2007

1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Swine Vesicular Disease) Regulations 2007.

2. The European Communities (Swine Vesicular Disease) Regulations 1995 (

S.I. No 373 of 1995

) are amended in Regulation 2(1) by substituting the following for the definition of ‘the Council Directive’—

“ ‘the Council Directive’ means Council Directive No 92/119/EEC of 17 December 1992 and Commission Directive 2007/10/EC of 21 February 2007;”.

These Regulations give effect to Commission Directive 2007/10/EC amending Council Directive 1992/119/EEC regarding the measures to be taken within a protection zone following an outbreak of swine vesicular disease.
