S.I. No. 149/2007 - Public Health (tobacco) Act 2002 (Commencement) Order 2007

1. This Order may be cited as the

Public Health (Tobacco) Act 2002

(Commencement) Order 2007.

2. In this Order “Act of 2002” means the

Public Health (Tobacco) Act 2002

(No. 6 of 2002).

3. (1) Section 45 of the Act of 2002 shall come into operation on the date of the making of this Order.

(2) The 31st day of May 2007 is appointed as the day on which subsections (1) and (3) of section 38 (inserted by

section 9

of the

Public Health (Tobacco) (Amendment) Act 2004

(No. 6 of 2004)) of the Act of 2002 shall come into operation.
