1. This Order may be cited as the

Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005

(Commencement) Order 2007.

2. The 20th day of March 2007 is appointed as the day on which—

(

) Part 1,

(

b

) Part 2,

(

c

) sections 92, 93, 95 and 96, and

(

d

) Schedule 1,

of the

Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005

(No. 27 of 2005) come into operation.

This Order commences certain provisions of the

Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005

with effect from 20th March 2007 for the purpose of establishing the Health and Social Care Professionals Council.
