1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Avian Influenza) (Control on Imports from Russia) (Amendment) Regulations 2006.

2. The European Communities (Avian Influenza) (Control on Imports from Russia) Regulations 2005 (

S.I No. 669 of 2005

) are amended by -

(a) the substitution, for the definition of “Commission Decision” in regulation 2(1), of -

“ ‘Commission Decision’ means Commission Decision 2005/693/EC

as amended by Commission Decision 2005/740/EC

and Commission Decision 2005/933/EC';”,

(No. 27 of 1972), and for the purpose of giving effect to Commission Decision 2005/933/EC
