1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Pesticide Residues (Foodstuffs of Animal Origin) (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations 2006.

2. The European Communities (Pesticide Residues)(Foodstuffs of Animal Origin Regulations 1999 (

S.I. No. 180 of 1999

) are amended in Regulation 2 (1) by substituting, for the definition of “Directive” (inserted by the European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Foodstuffs of Animal Origin) (Amendment (No. 3) Regulations 2006 (

) ), the following -

Explanatory Note

Commission Directive 2006/61/EC amends the Annex to Council Directive 86/363EEC as regards the maximum residue levels of azinphos-ethyl, fenthion and triazophos.

Commission Directive 2006/62/EC amends the Annex to Council Directive 86/363/EEC as regards maximum residue levels for phenmedipham and chlorfenvinphos.
