EXPLANATORY NOTE

The effect of these Regulations is to provide for the opening of the mussel seed fishery in an area of the Irish Sea off Cahore Point South/Rusk Bank, bounded by the following co-ordinates:-

Point 1 52 32.0 N 06 09.6 W (North East Point)

Point 2 Landfall west of point 1.

Point 3 52 30.0 N 06 09.6 W (South East point)

Point 4 Landfall west of point 3.

section 15

of the

Sea-Fisheries and Maritime Jurisdiction Act 2006

(No 8 of 2006) and the Marine (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order 2006 (

S.I. No. 167 of 2006

) hereby make the following regulations
