1. This Order may be cited as the

Electoral (Amendment) Act 2001

(Commencement) Order 2006.

Section 22

of the

Electoral (Amendment) Act 2001

shall come into operation on the making of this Order.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings into operation

section 22

of the

Electoral (Amendment) Act 2001

which provides for including additional information on the Polling Information Cards issued to voters under

section 92

of the

Electoral Act 1992
