S.I. No. 770/2005 - Registration of Adoptions and Marriages (Abridged Certificate) Regulations 2005

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Registration of Adoptions and Marriages (Abridged Certificate) Regulations 2005.

2. These Regulations shall come into operation on 5

th

December 2005.

3. An tArd-Chláraitheoir, a Superintendent Registrar or a Registrar may issue, as respects an entry in a register of marriages or the Adopted Children Register in which corrections have been made, a certificate of the matters at such entry, as so corrected, endorsed in the manner as set out in Part I, or Part II, as appropriate, of the Schedule to these Regulations on payment of a fee of €8.00, together with the appropriate search fee payable under the Civil Registration (Births and Deaths (Fees) Regulations 2005 or the appropriate search fee payable under the Civil Registration (Marriages) (Fees) Regulations 2005.

4. The Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages Regulations 1987 (

S.I. No. 234 of 1987

) are hereby revoked.
