S.I. No. 521/2005 - Education and Science (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order 2004

1. This Order may be cited as the Education and Science (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order 2004.

2. The powers and duties of the Minister for Education and Science conferred on her by or under -

(a) the Children Acts 1908 to 1989,

(b) the

Children Act 2001

(No. 24 of 2001), and

(c) the

Education (Welfare) Act 2000

(No. 22 of 2000),

other than such powers or duties that require that Minister to give her agreement to the exercise of any power or performance of any duty by another Minister, are delegated to Brian Lenihan, Minister of State at the Department of Education and Science.
