S.I. No. 370/2005 - Garda Síochána Act 2005 (Commencement) Order 2005

1. This Order may be cited as the Garda Síochána Act 2005 (Commencement) Order 2005.

2. The 1st day of August 2005 is appointed as the day on which—

(

a

) Part 1 (other than section 4), and

(

b

) sections 7, 39, 40, 41, 47, 48, 49, 60, 62, 121 (other than subsection (2)(

b

) and (

c

)), 124, 130 and 131,

of the

Garda Síochána Act 2005

(No. 20 of 2005) shall come into operation.
