1. These Regulations may be cited as
the Investor Compensation Act 1998
(Section 18(4)) (Prescription of Bodies and Individuals) Regulations 2004.
2. For the purposes of section 18(4) of
the Investor Compensation Act 1998
(No. 37 of 1998) (as amended by
the Central Bank and Financial Services Authority of Ireland Act 2003
(No. 12 of 2003)), the following bodies and individuals are prescribed as bodies and individuals that appear to the Minister to represent the interests of clients of investment firms
(a) The Consumers Association of Ireland;
(b) The Office of the Director of Consumer Affairs;
(c) Ms Ann O'Neill, Solicitor, Abercorn Solicitors, 38 Pembroke Road, Dublin 4;
(d) Mr. Gerry Shanahan, Deputy National Secretary, MSF (Manufacturing Science Finance), 15 Merrion Square, Dublin 2;
(e) Ms Inge Clissmann, P.O. Box 4460, Law Library Building, 158/9 Church Street, Dublin 7.

The Investor Compensation Act 1998
(Section 18(4)) (Prescription of Body and Individuals) Regulations 2002 (
S.I. No. 147 of 2002
) are revoked.
