1. This order may be cited as the electoral Act 1997 (section 53) Order 2004.

2. The aggregate of election expenses which may be incurred by or on behalf of a candidate in a presidential election in connection with his or her candidature at the presidential election shall not exceed €1,300,000.

This order provides for the setting of a limit of €1,300,000 for the aggregate election expenses of a candidate in a presidential election.
