S.I. No. 384/2003 - European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Products of Plant Origin Including Fruit and Vegetables) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2003

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Products of Plant Origin including Fruit and Vegetables (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2003.

(2) These Regulations come into operation in respect of fentin hydroxide fentin acetate and chlorfenapyr on 1 July 2004.

2. The European Communities (Pesticide Residues)(Products of Plant Origin including Fruit and Vegetables) Regulations 1999 (

S.I. No. 179 of 1999

) is amended in Regulation 2 (1) by substituting —

(i) “Annex I” for -

“’Annex I’ means Annex 1 to the Directive;”,

(ii) “Annex 2” for —

“’Annex II means Annex II of the Directive;”. and

(iii) “the Directive” for -

These Regulations amend existing regulations on the maximum residue levels for pesticide residues in and on products of plant origin, including fruit and vegetables.
