1. This Order may be cited as the Family Support Agency Act, 2001 (Establishment Day) Order 2003.

Family Support Agency Act, 2001

(No. 54 of 2001).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order provides that the 6

th

day of May, 2003 shall be the day of establishment of the new Family Support Agency. The Family Support Agency will provide a family mediation service, support, promote and develop the Family and Community Services Resource Centre programme, undertake research on family issues and provide information about relationships education parenting issues and family responsibilities.

Family Support Agency Act, 2001
