S.I. No. 526/2002 - European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Fruit and Vegetables) (Amendment) Regulations, 2002

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Fruit and Vegetables) (Amendment) Regulations, 2002.

(2) These Regulations shall come into operation in respect of Lindane on 1 December 2002, in respect of Dimethoate, Omethoate, Formothion Oxydemeton-methyl, Demeton-S-methyl and Demeton-S-methylsulfone on 1 January 2003, in respect of Parathion on 1 May 2003 and in respect of bromopropylate on 1 August 2003.

2. Annex II of the European Communities (Pesticide Residues (Fruit and Vegetables) Regulations, 1989 (

S.I. No. 105 of 1989

) is amended by the deletion of the entries relating to azinphos-ethyl, lindane, parathion dimethoate, omethoate, formothion, oxydemeton-methyl, demeton-S-methyl demeton-S-methylsulfone and bromopropylate.
