S.I. No. 5/2002 - Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (Classical Swine Fever) (Restriction on Imports From Spain) (No. 2) Order 2001 (Amendment) Order 2002

1. This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (Classical Swine Fever) (Restriction on Imports from Spain) (No. 2) Order 2001 (Amendment) Order 2002.

2. The Diseases of Animals Act 1966 (Classical Swine Fever) (Restriction on Imports from Spain) (No.2) Order 2001 (

S.I. No. 358 of 2001

) is amended by the substitution —

(a) for the definition of “Commission Decision” of —

“'Commission Decision” means Commission Decision 2001/925/EC of 20 December 2001

(b) for the definition of “restricted area” (inserted by the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (Classical Swine Fever) (Restriction on Imports from Spain) (No.2) (Second Amendment) Order 2001 (

S.I. No. 574 of 2001

)), of —

“ ‘restricted area’ means the provinces of Barcelona and Gerona in the autonomous region of Catalonia.”, and

(c) for “Commission Decision 2001/532/EC” of “Commission Decision 2001/925/EC of 20 December 2001” in each place where it occurs.
