1. This Order may be cited as the Mackerel (Fisheries Management and Conservation) (No 2) Order, 2002.

2. This Order shall come into operation at midnight on the 05

3. The Mackerel (Fisheries Management and Conservation) Order, 2002 (

) is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The effect of this Order is to permit the fishing for, transhipment, landing or having on board mackerel by Irish sea-fishing boats, duly licensed, of length greater or equal to 65 feet in the polyvalent segment in ICES sub-areas and divisions IIa, IVa, Vb, VI, VII, VIIIa, b, d, e and XII and XIV with effect from midnight on the 05

day of October 2002.
