S.I. No. 33/2002 - Referendum Act, 1998 Referendum Commission (Establishment) Order, 2002

1. This order may be cited as the Referendum Commission (Establishment) Order, 2002.

2. A Referendum Commission is hereby established to undertake the functions assigned to it by the

Referendum Act, 1998

, as amended by the

Referendum Act, 2001

in relation to the proposal for an amendment of the Constitution contained in the Twenty-fifth Amendment of the Constitution (Protection of Human Life in Pregnancy) Bill, 2001.
