S.I. No. 658/2001 - Comptroller and Auditor General (Amendment) Act, 1993 (Section 14) (No. 2) Order, 2001.

1. (1) This order may be cited as the Comptroller and Auditor General (Amendment) Act, 1993 (Section 14) (No. 2) Order, 2001.

(2) This Order comes into operation on 1 July 2001.

2. On and from 1 July 2001 the annual rate of remuneration of the Comptroller and Auditor General shall be €153,916.38 (£121,219).

3. The Comptroller and Auditor General (Amendment) Act, 1993 (Section 14) Order, 2001 (

S.I. No. 202 of 2001

), is revoked.

This Order applies an increase with effect from 1 July 2001 to the salary of the Comptroller and Auditor General, arising from the recommendations in

Report No. 38 of the Review Body on Higher Remuneration in the Public Sector.
