The Minister for the Environment and Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by

section 5

of the

Road Traffic Act, 1961

(No. 24 of 1961) and

section 10

of the

Road Traffic Act, 1968

(No. 25 of 1968) hereby makes the following Regulations:-

1.

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Licensing of Trailers and Semi-Trailers)(Amendment) (No.2) Regulations, 2001.

(2) The Road Traffic (Licensing of Trailers and Semi-Trailers) Regulations, 1982 to 2001 and these Regulations shall be construed as one and cited together as the Road Traffic (Licensing of Trailers and Semi-Trailers) Regulations, 1982 to 2001.

(3) These Regulations shall apply to licences taken out for periods beginning on or after 1 January, 2002.

The Road Traffic (Licensing of Trailers and Semi-Trailers) Regulations, 1982 are hereby amended by the substitution in the Second Schedule thereof:-

“€6” for “£5” and

“€60” for “£50”.
