1. This Order may be cited as the Aviation Regulation Act, 2001 (Establishment Day) Order, 2001.

2. The 27th day of February, 2001, is hereby appointed as the establishment day for the purposes of the

Aviation Regulation Act, 2001

(No. 1 of 2001).

The effect of this Order is to provide that for the purposes of

section 3

of the

Aviation Regulation Act 2001

, the establishment day for the Act is 27

th

of February 2001. On that day, there shall stand established the Commission for Aviation Regulation to perform the functions conferred on it by the

Aviation Regulation Act 2001

.
