S.I. No. 436/2001 - Celtic Sea (Prohibition on Herring Fishing) (Revocation) Order, 2001.

1. This Order may be cited as the Celtic Sea (Prohibition on Herring Fishing) (Revocation) Order, 2001.

2. This Order shall come into operation at 2 p.m. on the 30th day of September, 2001.

3. The Celtic Sea (Prohibition on Herring Fishing) Order, 2001 (

S.I.No. 45 of 2001

) is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The effect of this Order is to permit the fishing for, transhipment, landing or having on board herring by Irish sea-fishing boats, duly licensed, in the Celtic Sea, with effect from 2 p.m. on the 30th September 2001.
