1. This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (Import Restrictions) (No. 2) (Second Amendment) Order, 2001.

2. The Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (Import Restrictions) (No. 2) Order, 2001 (

S.I. No. 83 of 2001

), is amended by -

(a) the substitution for “16 February, 2001” in each place where it occurs of “25 February, 2001”, and

(b) the substitution for the definition of “restricted areas” (inserted by the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (Foot-and Mouth Disease)(Import Restrictions)(No. 2) (Amendment) Order, 2001 (

S.I. No. 107 of 2001

)), of the following definition -

“‘restricted areas’ means the French Departments of Seine-et-Marne, Seine-Saint-Denis and Val d'Oise.”.
