1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Cereals) (Amendment) Regulations, 2001.
(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of April 2001.
2. In these Regulations-
“the Principal Regulations” means the European Communities(Pesticide Residues) (Cereals) Regulations, 1999 (
S.I. No. 181 of 1999
).

3. Annex II of the Principal Regulations is hereby amended by the addition of the following entries to Annex II

Explanatory Note
(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation)
These Regulations add to existing Regulations in relation to Azoxystrobin and insert an additional pesticide residue ‘Kresoxim Methyl’ to Annex II of the Regulations on pesticide residue in and on cereals.
