S.I. No. 79/2000 - Education and Science (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order, 2000

1. This Order may be cited as the Education and Science (Delegation of Ministerial Functions)(No. 2) Order, 2000.

2. The powers and duties of the Minister for Education and Science conferred on the Minister by or under-

(a) the Children Acts, 1908 to 1989, in so far as they relate to juvenile offenders, and

(b) the School Attendance Acts, 1926 to 1967,

are hereby delegated to Mary Hanafin, Minister of State at the Department of Education and Science.
