S.I. No. 466/2000 - Blue Whiting (Prohibition on Fishing) Revocation Order, 2000.

1. This Order may be cited as the Blue Whiting (Prohibition on Fishing (Revocation) Order, 2000.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 2001.

3. The Blue Whiting (Prohibition on Fishing) Order, 2000 (

S.I. No. 86 of 2000

) is hereby revoked.

The effect of this Order is to permit the fishing for, transhipment or having on board blue whiting by Irish sea-fishing boats, duly licensed, in ICES Division Vb, ICES Sub-areas VI and VII with effect from 1st day of January, 2001.
